Can Contactless technology be added to on any type of card? E.g. Basic Bank Account card, ATM Only card, pre-paid, store cards, gift cards, and loyalty cards?

In theory yes, it is possible to add Contactless technology to any card. However, each card company will choose which card types they wish to add Contactless technology to; therefore certain types of cards may be excluded.
