Contactless Maps

The map below plots the density of contactless terminals by postcode area. The hotter the colour, the more terminals that will be found per square kilometre.

In the densest areas shown in orange and red there are between 0.5 and 98.19 terminals per kilometre. In the blue areas there are less than 0.05 terminals per kilometre.

This map was produced in July 2010.

To find out exactly where contactless cards are already accepted, visit either MasterCard® PayPass™ or Visa payWave. Customers can use their Contactless cards in the outlets listed on either site, regardless of whether their card is Visa payWave, Maestro® PayPass™ or MasterCard® PayPass™.
